First of All........ Alpha

First GLO created having a dual purpose of service/fellowship. (1907)

All other Early Greek organizations were created for the purpose of its members. 

First #D9 BGLO organized & accepted on an HBCU campus. (1907)

First Divine Nine organization  to create a probate show. (1908)

First AA sorority organized & accepted on an PWI campus. (1913)

First Divine Nine organization  to create a scholarship. (1913)

Funds began being raised in 1912. Quander replaced with gold piece in 1913.

Issued 1914

First AA sorority to seek expansion (1910) &  incorporate nationally. (1913)

First Greek Letter organization in the country to be a full life member of the NAACP (1938 -1939)

First #D9 with an International Headquarters
